Hadith 2849
أَخْبَرَنَا
الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا
مَالِكٌ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ، عَنِ
ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"دَخَلَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرَّةٍ، فَقِيلَ: لَا أَنْتِ أَطْعَمْتِيهَا وَسَقَيْتِيهَا، وَلَا أَنْتِ أَرْسَلْتِيهَا فَتَأْكُلَ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A woman entered Hell because of a cat. It was said to her: You neither fed it nor gave it water, nor did you let it go so that it could eat the insects of the earth."
