Hadith 2820
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Indeed, Allah has divided mercy into one hundred parts. He kept ninety-nine parts with Himself and sent down one part to the earth. It is from this one part that the creation shows mercy to one another, to the extent that a mare lifts its hoof away from its young out of fear that it might harm it."
