باب في فَضْلِ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ:
Chapter on the virtue of the people of Badr
Hadith 2796
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "أَيْنَ فُلَانٌ ؟". فَغَمَزَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ، وَإِنَّهُ !، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "أَلَيْسَ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا ؟"، قَالُوا: بَلَى . قَالَ: "فَلَعَلَّ اللَّهَ اطَّلَعَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ، فَقَالَ: اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ، فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked: "Where is such-and-such a person?" One of those present mentioned him with bad words, saying he is such and such. The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Was he not present at Badr?" It was submitted: Indeed, he participated. He said: "Allah Almighty was aware of the condition of the people of Badr and said: Do as you wish, I have forgiven you."
