Hadith 2789
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، وَنَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "الدِّينُ النَّصِيحَةُ"، قَالَ: قُلْنَا: لِمَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟، قَالَ: "لِلَّهِ، وَلِرَسُولِهِ، وَلِكِتَابِهِ، وَلِأَئِمَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَعَامَّتِهِمْ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The religion is (all about) sincere advice.” We asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Sincere advice to whom? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “To Allah, to His Messenger, to His Book, to the leaders of the Muslims, and to the common Muslims.”
