باب انْصُرْ أَخَاكَ ظَالِماً أَوْ مَظْلُوماً:

Chapter: Help your brother, whether oppressor or oppressed

Hadith 2788
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "لِيَنْصُرِ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ ظَالِمًا أَوْ مَظْلُومًا، فَإِنْ كَانَ ظَالِمًا، فَلْيَنْهَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ نُصْرَةٌ، وَإِنْ كَانَ مَظْلُومًا، فَلْيَنْصُرْهُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man should help his brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed; if he is an oppressor, (helping him means) stopping him from oppression, and if he is oppressed, (helping him means) assisting him and rescuing him from the clutches of the oppressor."

Hadith Takhrij اس روایت کی سند صحیح ہے، اور یہ صحیح مسلم کی طویل حدیث کا ایک جملہ ہے جس میں ہے کہ مہاجر و انصار کے دو لڑکے آپس میں لڑ پڑے اور دونوں نے اپنے اہلِ قبیلہ کو دہائی دی، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہ تو جاہلیت کی پکار ہے۔“ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ فرمایا کہ: ”اپنے بھائی کی مدد کرو.......۔“ دیکھئے: [بخاري 2443] ، [مسلم 2584] ، [أبويعلی 1824] ، [ابن حبان 5166] ، [الموارد 1847]
