باب أَيُّ الأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ:
Chapter: Which deeds are best
Hadith 2773
أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُرَاوِحِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ , قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ . قَالَ: "إِيمَانٌ بِاللَّهِ، وَجِهَادٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A companion asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Which deed is the best? He replied: “To have faith in Allah, then to strive in the way of Allah.”
Hadith 2774
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "أَفْضَلُ الْأَعْمَالِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ إِيمَانٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِ" . قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ: أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ: رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best deed in the sight of Allah is faith, there is no doubt in it."
