Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: «﴿وَأَنْذِرْعَشِيْرَتَكَالْأَقْرَبِيْنَ﴾» (Ash-Shu'ara: 214/26), "And warn your closest relatives," the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people of Quraysh! Save your souls from Allah (by doing righteous deeds), I will be of no avail to you before Allah (that is, I will not be able to do anything against Allah’s will). O sons of Abd Manaf! I will be of no avail to you before Allah. O Abbas (the Prophet’s uncle), son of Abdul Muttalib! I will be of no avail to you before Allah. O Safiyyah (the Prophet’s aunt), daughter of Abdul Muttalib! I will be of no avail to you before Allah. O Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)! Ask me for whatever you wish of my wealth, but I will be of no avail to you before Allah."
