باب في النَّهْيِ عَنِ الْجَرَسِ:
Chapter on the prohibition of bells
Hadith 2710
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَرَّاحِ مَوْلَى أَمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: "الْعِيرُ الَّتِي فِيهَا الْجَرَسُ، لَا تَصْحَبُهَا الْمَلَائِكَة".
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels do not remain with the caravan in which there is a bell."
Hadith 2711
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: "لَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رِفْقَةً فِيهَا كَلْبٌ، أَوْ جَرَسٌ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The angels do not accompany those travelers who have a dog or a bell with them."
