باب في النَّهْيِ عَنْ أَنْ تُتَّخَذَ الدَّوَابُّ كَرَاسِيَّ:
Chapter on the prohibition of using animals as seats
Hadith 2703
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: "ارْكَبُوا هَذِهِ الدَّوَابَّ سَالِمَةً، وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا كَرَاسِيَّ".
It is narrated from Sahl bin Anas, who narrated from his father who was among the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Ride these animals as long as they are not tired and wounded, and do not make them chairs."
Hadith 2704
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ اللَّيْثِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مُخَالِفٌ شَبَابَةَ فِي شَيْءٍ.
Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Abdullah bin Salih informed us from Laith, but his narration differs somewhat from that of Shababa bin Sawwar.
