باب في النَّهْيِ عَنْ عَسْبِ الْفَحْلِ:
Chapter on the prohibition of stud fees for animals
Hadith 2659
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: "نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ثَمَنِ عَسْبِ الْفَحْلِ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade taking the price of the water (semen) of a male (animal).
Hadith 2660
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ الْمَهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ"نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ عَسْبِ الْفَحْلِ، وَأَجْرِ الْمُومِسَةِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade taking a fee for the water of a male animal and also forbade taking a fee from a prostitute woman.
