Hadith 2624
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْيَسَرِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ: "مَنْ أَنْظَرَ مُعْسِرًا، أَوْ وَضَعَ عَنْهُ، أَظَلَّهُ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ" . قَالَ: فَبَزَقَ فِي صَحِيفَتِهِ، فَقَالَ: اذْهَبْ فَهِيَ لَكَ لِغَرِيمِهِ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ مُعْسِرًا.
Sayyiduna Abu al-Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever grants respite to a needy (debtor)" or he said: "Whoever forgives the debt of a needy person, Allah Almighty will grant him shade on the Day when there will be no shade except His shade."
The narrator said: Sayyiduna Abu al-Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) had the document brought in which the debt was written, and he erased it and said to his debtor: "Go, I have forgiven it," and he informed that he himself had once been needy and in hardship.

Hadith 2625
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: "مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ غَرِيمِهِ أَوْ مَحَا عَنْهُ، كَانَ فِي ظِلِّ الْعَرْشِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Whoever grants respite to his debtor or forgives his debt, he will be under the shade of the Throne on the Day of Resurrection.”
