باب فِي: «الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا»:

Chapter: Both Parties Have the Option Until They Part

Hadith 2583
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ: أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا، بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي بَيْعِهِمَا، وَإِنْ كَذَبَا وَكَتَمَا، مُحِقَ بَرَكَةُ بَيْعِهِمَا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The buyer and the seller have the option (to cancel the transaction) as long as they have not separated. Then, if both speak the truth and clarify everything, there will be blessing in their trade (buying and selling), but if both lie and conceal something, the blessing in their transaction will be erased.”

Hadith 2584
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ.
A hadith similar to the previous one is also narrated through this chain.
