باب في مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ وَابْنُ أُخْتِهِمْ مِنْهُمْ:
Chapter: The Freedman and Nephew Are Considered Among the People
Hadith 2563
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ: أَكَانَ أَنَسٌ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِلنُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ: "ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ ؟". قَالَ: نَعَمْ.
Shu’bah said: I asked Mu’awiyah bin Qurrah: Did Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding Nu’man bin Muqarrin: “The sister’s son of a people is one of the people themselves”? He said: Yes.
Hadith 2564
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَوْلَى الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ، وَحَلِيفُ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ، وَابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ".
Kathir bin Abdullah narrated from his father, who narrated from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The mawla of a people is from among them, and the ally of a people is from among them, and the sister's son is from among them."
