باب في سُهْمَانِ الْخَيْلِ:
Chapter: Shares for Horses
Hadith 2508
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "أَسْهَمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ لِلْفَارِسِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَسْهُمٍ، وَلِلرَّاجِلِ سَهْمًا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that on the day of Khaybar, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the horseman three shares (from the spoils) and the foot soldier one share.
Hadith 2509
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، نَحْوَهُ.
This narration of the above-mentioned hadith is also reported through this method. The translation has already been mentioned above.
