باب فَضْلِ الْخَيْلِ في سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ:
Chapter: Virtue of Horses in Allah’s Path
Hadith 2463
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي بِنَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ: الأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ".
Sayyiduna Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Goodness and blessing will remain tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, meaning they will be a cause of reward in the Hereafter and spoils of war in this world.”
Hadith 2464
أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ , عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ: الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ".
With this chain as well, it is narrated similarly as before. The translation of the narration has already been mentioned above.
