It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All fingers are equal." Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: (On each finger) there are ten. He (the Prophet) said: "Yes."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This and this (all) are equal," and he pointed towards the little finger and the thumb.
Abu Bakr bin Amr bin Hazm narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) wrote to the people of Yemen: "For each finger of the hand and foot, the compensation (diyah) is ten camels."
