باب الْقِصَاصِ بَيْنَ الْعَبِيدِ:
Chapter: Retaliation Among Slaves
Hadith 2405
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الرِّفَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ: "أَنَّ عَبْدًا لِأُنَاسٍ فُقَرَاءَ، قَطَعَ يَدَ غُلَامٍ لِأُنَاسٍ أَغْنِيَاءَ . فَأَتَى أَهْلُهُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّهُ لِأُنَاسٍ فُقَرَاءَ ؟ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the slave of the poor cut off the hand of the slave of the rich. His master presented himself before the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The people said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! This slave belongs to the poor (i.e., those who cannot pay blood money), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not impose any (blood money) upon them.
