باب لاَ نَذْرَ في مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ:
Chapter: No Vow in Disobedience to Allah
Hadith 2374
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَا وَفَاءَ لِنَذْرٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ، وَلَا فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ ابْنُ آدَمَ".
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A vow made to commit sin and disobedience should not be fulfilled, nor should a vow be fulfilled which the son of Adam does not have the ability (i.e., power) to fulfill."
Hadith 2375
حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْأَيْلِيِّ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَطِيعَ اللَّهَ، فَلْيُطِعْهُ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ، فَلَا يَعْصِهِ".
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever makes a vow to obey Allah should obey Him, and whoever makes a vow to disobey Allah should not commit the sinful act.”
