باب في الشُّرْبِ قَائِماً:
Chapter: Drinking While Standing
Hadith 2161
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ ابْنِ ابْنَةِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "شَرِبَ مِنْ فَمِ قِرْبَةٍ قَائِمًا".
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank water while standing, placing his mouth on a waterskin.
Hadith 2162
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُدَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَزَرِيِّ: يَزِيدَ بْنِ عُطَارِدَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: "كُنَّا نَشْرَبُ وَنَحْنُ قِيَامٌ، وَنَأْكُلُ وَنَحْنُ نَسْعَى عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: During the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to drink water while standing and eat food while walking.
Hadith 2163
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، نَحْوَهُ.
With this chain also, a narration from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is reported similarly as before.
