باب في مُدْمِنِ الْخَمْرِ:
Chapter: The Habitual Drinker
Hadith 2130
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ جَابَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،، قَالَ: "لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَدُ زِنْيَةٍ، وَلَا مَنَّانٌ، وَلَا عَاقٌّ، وَلَا مُدْمِنُ خَمْرٍ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A child born from adultery, one who reminds others of his favors, one who is disobedient to his parents, and one who habitually drinks alcohol will not enter Paradise."
Hadith 2131
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ نُبَيْطِ بْنِ شَرِيطٍ، عَنْ جَابَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ عَاقٌّ، وَلَا مَنَّانٌ، وَلَا مُدْمِنُ خَمْرٍ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He will not enter Paradise: one who is disobedient to his parents, one who reminds others of his favors, and one who is addicted to drinking alcohol (a habitual drunkard)."
