باب في أَكْلِ الدَّجَاجِ:
Chapter: Eating Chicken
Hadith 2092
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ التَّمِيمِيِّ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ، قَالَ: كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي مُوسَى فَقُدِّمَ طَعَامُهُ، فَقُدِّمَ فِي طَعَامِهِ لَحْمُ دَجَاجٍ، وَفِي الْقَوْمِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي تَيْمِ اللَّهِ أَحْمَرُ، فَلَمْ يَدْنُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ أَبُو مُوسَى: "ادْنُ، فَإِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ".
Zahdam al-Jarmi said: We were sitting with Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) when food was presented to him which contained chicken meat. Among those present was a man from the red Banu Taym Allah, and he did not come near. Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: Come closer, for I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) eating this.
Hadith 2093
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ الدَّجَاجَ، فَقَالَ: "رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُهُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him), who, mentioning the chicken, said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) eating chicken.
