باب في الذي يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا يَلِيهِ:
Chapter: Eating from What Is Nearest
Hadith 2082
أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ لَهُ: "سَمِّ اللَّهَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "Mention the name of Allah and eat from what is in front of you."
