باب الذُّبَابِ يَقَعُ في الطَّعَامِ:
Chapter: A Fly Falling into Food
Hadith 2077
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ حُنَيْنٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِذَا سَقَطَ الذُّبَابُ فِي شَرَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ، فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ لِيَنْزِعْهُ، فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً، وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءً".
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a fly falls into the (food or) drink of any one of you, he should fully immerse the fly in the vessel and then throw it out, for on one of its wings is disease and on the other is cure."
Hadith 2078
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ، فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ، فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ دَاءً، وَفِي الْآخَرِ شِفَاءً" . قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد: قَالَ غَيْرُ حَمَّادٍ: ثُمَامَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، مَكَانَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . وَقَوْمٌ يَقُولُونَ: عَنْ الْقَعْقَاع، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، وَحَدِيثُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ أَصَحُّ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a fly falls into the vessel of any one of you, then immerse the whole fly in the vessel, for in one of its wings is disease and in the other is cure." Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Except for Hammad (bin Salamah), the narrators have reported this from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) through Thumamah, while other narrators have reported it from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) through Qaqa'. And the first hadith which is narrated from Ubaid bin Hunaid is the most authentic of all.
