Hadith 2035
Abu Waqid said: We asked, "O Messenger of Allah! We travel to lands where there is famine (starvation), in such a situation, what part of a dead animal is lawful for us?" He replied: "When you do not find food for lunch or dinner, and you do not even get vegetables, then you may eat the dead animal." The narrator said: People have narrated from «حاء» from «تحتفوا», but in this narration it is narrated from «تختفوا» with the letter 'Kha'.
