باب في أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ:
Chapter: Eating Horse Meat
Hadith 2031
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: "أَكَلْنَا لَحْمَ فَرَسٍ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ".
Lady Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that we ate horse meat in Madinah during the blessed era of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Hadith 2032
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: "نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ، وَأَذِنَ فِي لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Khaybar forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys, and permitted (the eating of) horse meat.
