باب في جَزَاءِ الضَّبُعِ:
Chapter: Compensation for Killing a Hyena
Hadith 1980
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الضَّبُعِ، فَقَالَ: "هُوَ صَيْدٌ وَفِيهِ كَبْشٌ إِذَا أَصَابَهُ الْمُحْرِمُ".
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the hyena, so he (peace be upon him) said: "It is game, that is, it can be hunted. And if a person in the state of ihram hunts it, then he must give a ram as expiation."
Hadith 1981
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ الضَّبُعِ آكُلُهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قُلْتُ: هُوَ صَيْدٌ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ" . قُلْتُ: سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ . قِيلَ لِأَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ: مَا تَقُولُ فِي الضَّبُعِ تَأْكُلُهُ ؟ قَالَ: أَنَا أَكْرَهُ أَكْلَهُ.
Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abi Ammar said: I asked Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them): Can the hyena be eaten? He replied: You can eat it. I asked: Can it be hunted? He replied: Yes. I said: Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied: Yes. Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: What do you say about the hyena? Can it be eaten? He said: I do not like to eat it.
