باب أَيْنَ يُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ بَعْدَ الطَّوَافِ:
Chapter: Where to Pray After Tawaf
Hadith 1969
«أَخْبَرَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ: "قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَصَلَّى عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّفَا" .
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Makkah, he performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah and offered two rak'ahs of prayer near Maqam Ibrahim, then proceeded towards Safa.
Hadith 1970
قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: فَحَدَّثَنِي أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: هِيَ السُّنَّةُ.
Shu’bah said: Ayub narrated to me from ‘Amr bin Dinar, from Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that this is the Sunnah, that is, to perform two rak‘ahs of prayer behind Maqam Ibrahim after Tawaf is Sunnah.
