باب بِمَا يَتِمُّ الْحَجُّ:
Chapter: What Completes Hajj
Hadith 1925
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَعْمُرَ الدِّيلِيَّ يَقُولُ: سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَجِّ، فَقَالَ: "الْحَجُّ عَرَفَاتٌ أَوْ قَالَ: عَرَفَةَ، وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ" . وَقَالَ: "أَيَّامُ مِنًى ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ فَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ تَأَخَّرَ فَلا إِثْمَ سورة البقرة آية 203" ..
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Ya'mar Daili (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about Hajj, so he (peace be upon him) said: "Hajj is (standing) at Arafat," or he said, "Standing on the day of Arafah is (the essence of) Hajj, and whoever stands at Arafah before dawn breaks on the night of Muzdalifah has attained Hajj." He also said: "The days of staying at Mina are three. So whoever hastens and departs (from Mina) after two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays and departs on the third day, there is also no sin upon him."
Hadith 1926
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَوْقِفِ عَلَى رُؤُوسِ النَّاسِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، جِئْتُ مِنْ جَبَلَيْ طَيِّءٍ، أَكْلَلْتُ مَطِيَّتِي: وَأَتْعَبْتُ نَفْسِي، وَاللَّهِ إِنْ بَقِيَ جَبَلٌ إِلَّا وَقَفْتُ عَلَيْهِ، فَهَلْ لِي مِنْ حَجٍّ ؟ قَالَ: "مَنْ شَهِدَ مَعَنَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ، وَقَدْ أَتَى عَرَفَاتٍ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ لَيْلًا أَوْ نَهَارًا، فَقَدْ قَضَى تَفَثَهُ، وَتَمَّ حَجُّهُ".
Sayyiduna ‘Urwah bin Mudarris (may Allah be pleased with him) said that at Muzdalifah, a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in front of all the people and said: O Messenger of Allah! I am coming from the mountains of Tayy. I have exhausted my she-camel and put myself through hardship (meaning, to reach ‘Arafat quickly), and by Allah, there was not a single mountain or hill that I did not stand upon (thinking it was ‘Arafat). So has my Hajj been performed or not? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever joins us in this prayer (meaning the Fajr prayer) and has stood at ‘Arafat at any part of the day or night, his impurities have been removed and his Hajj is complete.”
Hadith 1927
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّسِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ لَامٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
Sayyiduna ‘Urwah bin Mudarris bin Harithah bin Lam at-Ta’i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ...... and mentioned the above hadith.
