Chapter: Miqat for Umrah
Hadith 1899
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْبَزَّازُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُزَاحِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مُحَرِّشٍ الْكَعْبِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "خَرَجَ مِنْ الْجِعْرَانَةِ حِينَ أَنْشَأَ مُعْتَمِرًا، فَدَخَلَ مَكَّةَ لَيْلًا، فَقَضَى عُمْرَتَهُ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ مِنْ تَحْتِ لَيْلَتِهِ، فَأَصْبَحَ بِالْجِعْرَانَةِ كَبَائِتٍ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Maharish Ka'bi (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to perform 'Umrah, he set out from Ji'irrana and entered Makkah at night, completed his 'Umrah, and then returned to Ji'irrana the same night, as if he spent the night in Ji'irrana itself.
Hadith 1900
حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَقُولُ: "أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ أُرْدِفَ عَائِشَةَ فَأُعْمِرَهَا مِنْ التَّنْعِيمِ" . قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: كَانَ شُعْبَةُ يُعْجِبُهُ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ.
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to seat Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) behind me and take her to Taneem so that she could perform Umrah. Sufyan said: Shu’bah (may Allah have mercy on him) used to like chains of narration such as this.
Hadith 1901
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ الْعَطَّارُ، عَنْ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، عَنْ أَبِيهَا، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ: "أَرْدِفْ أُخْتَكَ يَعْنِي: عَائِشَةَ وَأَعْمِرْهَا مِنْ التَّنْعِيمِ، فَإِذَا هَبَطْتَ مِنْ الْأَكَمَةِ، فَمُرْهَا فَلْتُحْرِمْ، فَإِنَّهَا عُمْرَةٌ مُتَقَبَّلَةٌ".
Hafsa bint Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated from her father that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her father, Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him): "Seat your sister, that is, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), behind you and take her to perform ‘Umrah from Tan‘im. When she descends from the hills, tell her to enter into ihram, for surely this ‘Umrah will be accepted."
