باب كَمِ اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
Chapter: How Many Umrahs the Prophet Performed
Hadith 1896
أَخْبَرَنَا شِهَابُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعَ عُمَرٍ: عُمْرَةَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، وَعُمْرَةَ الْقَضَاءِ أَوْ قَالَ: عُمْرَةَ الْقِصَاصِ، شَكَّ شِهَابُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ مِنْ قَابِلٍ، وَالثَّالِثَةَ مِنْ الْجِعْرَانَةِ , وَالرَّابِعَةَ الَّتِي مَعَ حَجَّتِهِ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed four Umrahs: the first Umrah at the time of (the treaty of) Hudaybiyyah, the second in the following year as Umrat al-Qada or, as it is said, as Umrat al-Qisas—this was the doubt of Shahab bin ‘Abbad—the third Umrah from Ji‘ranah, and the fourth Umrah along with his Hajj.
