باب النُّفَسَاءِ وَالْحَائِضِ إِذَا أَرَادَتَا الْحَجَّ وَبَلَغَتَا الْمِيقَاتَ:
Chapter: Menstruating and Postnatal Women at Miqat
Hadith 1842
حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: "نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بِالشَّجَرَةِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ "تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ".
Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: When Sayyida Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) was in postnatal bleeding (nifas) at Shajara after the birth of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to “(tell her to) perform ghusl and enter into ihram.”
Hadith 1843
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، فِي حَدِيثِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ، حِينَ نُفِسَتْ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ يَأْمُرَهَا أَنْ "تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the hadith of Sayyidah Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) that when she experienced postnatal bleeding at Dhu’l-Hulayfah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to tell her: “Let her perform ghusl and enter into ihram.”
