باب مَنْ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَحُجَّ:
Chapter: One Who Dies Without Performing Hajj
Hadith 1823
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَابِطٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَنْ لَمْ يَمْنَعْهُ عَنْ الْحَجِّ حَاجَةٌ ظَاهِرَةٌ، أَوْ سُلْطَانٌ جَائِرٌ، أَوْ مَرَضٌ حَابِسٌ، فَمَاتَ وَلَمْ يَحُجَّ، فَلْيَمُتْ إِنْ شَاءَ يَهُودِيًّا، وَإِنْ شَاءَ نَصْرَانِيًّا".
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is not prevented from performing Hajj by an apparent need, a tyrannical ruler, or a restraining illness, and dies without having performed Hajj, then let him die if he wishes as a Jew or if he wishes as a Christian."
