Hadith 1819
Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was coming out to inform us about the Night of Qadr when two Muslims began to quarrel with each other. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I was coming to you to inform you about the Night of Qadr, but so-and-so and so-and-so quarreled, so it was taken away (and I forgot which night it is). Perhaps this is better for you. So now seek it in the last ten nights, on the fifth, seventh, or ninth night."
Hadith 1820
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Laylat al-Qadr was shown to me, but one of my wives woke me up, so I forgot (which night it was). Therefore, seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan."
Hadith 1821
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek the Night of Qadr in the last seven nights."
