باب في فَضْلِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ:
Chapter: Virtue of Ramadan
Hadith 1813
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا جَاءَ رَمَضَانُ، فُتِحَتْ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ، وَغُلِّقَتْ أَبْوَابُ النَّارِ، وَصُفِّدَتْ الشَّيَاطِينُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When the month of Ramadan comes, the gates of the heavens are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained."
