باب فِيمَنْ يُصْبِحُ جُنُباً وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ الصَّوْمَ:
Chapter: One Who Wakes Up Junub and Intends to Fast
Hadith 1763
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ، وَعَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرتَاهُ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ"كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، ثُمَّ يَصُومُ".
The Mother of the Believers, Lady Umm Salamah, and the Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with them both), reported that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would sometimes enter the morning in a state of major ritual impurity due to intercourse, and yet he would still fast.
