Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not lawful for a rich (wealthy) person to take charity, nor for a strong, able-bodied man." Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The meaning of «سوي» is strong.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever begs while being wealthy will come on the Day of Resurrection with wounds on his face." It was asked: What is the limit of wealth? He said: "Fifty dirhams or its equivalent in gold."
With this second chain as well, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the same manner.
