باب مَا جَاءَ في وَقْتِ الْوِتْرِ:
Chapter: Time for Witr
Hadith 1626
أَخْبَرَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ وَثَّابٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهِ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: "فِي كُلِّ اللَّيْلِ قَدْ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَانْتَهَى وِتْرُهُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ".
Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Witr in every part of the night, and towards the end, his Witr would be close to the morning.
Hadith 1627
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو نَضْرَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيّ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ سُئِلَ عَنْ الْوِتْرِ، فَقَالَ: "أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about Witr, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pray Witr before Fajr."
