باب فِيمَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ:
Chapter: One who misses Friday prayer without excuse
Hadith 1609
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَّامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مِينَا، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ وَأَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى أَعْوَادِ مِنْبَرِهِ: "لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ عَنْ وَدَعِهِمْ الْجُمُعَاتِ، أَوْ لَيَخْتِمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ، ثُمَّ لَيَكُونُنَّ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ".
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar and Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that they heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying from the wooden pulpit: "Let people stop neglecting Jumu'ah, otherwise Allah will seal their hearts, then they will surely be among the heedless."
Hadith 1610
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الضَّمْرِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ تَهَاوُنًا بِهَا، طَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Ju’d Damri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever neglects Jumu’ah out of laziness, Allah Almighty will seal his heart.”
