باب فَضْلِ التَّهْجِيرِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ:
Chapter: Virtue of going early to Friday prayer
Hadith 1582
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "الْمُتَعَجِّلُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَالْمُهْدِي جَزُورًا، ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَقَرَةً، ثُمَّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ كَالْمُهْدِي شَاةً، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ الْإِمَامُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ، طُوِيَتْ الصُّحُفُ، وَجَلَسُوا يَسْتَمِعُونَ الذِّكْرَ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The example of the one who goes early for the Friday prayer is like that of one who offers a camel as a sacrifice, then the one who comes after him is like one who offers a cow as a sacrifice, and the one who comes after him is like one who offers a goat as a sacrifice. Then, when the Imam sits on the pulpit, the registers are closed and the (recording) angels also sit down to listen to the sermon.”
Hadith 1583
أَخْبَرَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ صَاحِبِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ، قَعَدَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَكَتَبُوا مَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ، فَإِذَا رَاحَ الْإِمَامُ، طَوَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ الصُّحُفَ وَدَخَلَتْ تَسْتَمِعُ الذِّكْرَ" . قَالَ: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "الْمُتَهَجِّرُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَالْمُهْدِي بَدَنَةً، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي بَقَرَةً، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي شَاةً، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي بَطَّةً، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي دَجَاجَةً، ثُمَّ كَالْمُهْدِي بَيْضَةً" ..
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When it is the day of Jumu'ah, the angels sit at the doors of the mosque and record the names of those who come for Jumu'ah. Then when the Imam comes (for the sermon), the angels close their registers and themselves enter to listen to the sermon." Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who comes first is like one who offers a camel as a sacrifice, then the one who comes after is like one who offers a cow as a sacrifice, then the one who comes after offers a goat as a sacrifice, then the one after that offers a duck as a sacrifice, then the one after that offers a chicken as a sacrifice, and then the one who comes after that is like one who offers an egg as a sacrifice."
