For when the first third of the night passes, Allah, the Exalted, descends to the lowest heaven and remains there until the break of dawn, and an angel calls out: Is there anyone who asks so that he may be given? Is there anyone who supplicates so that his supplication may be answered? Is there any sick person so that he may be cured? Is there any sinner who seeks forgiveness so that he may be forgiven?"
