باب النَّهْيِ أَنْ يُسْجَدَ لأَحَدٍ:
Chapter: Forbidding prostrating to anyone
Hadith 1502
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق الْأَزْرَقُ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ الْحِيرَةَ فَرَأَيْتُهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ لِمَرْزُبَانَ لَهُمْ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَلَا نَسْجُدُ لَكَ ؟ قَالَ: "لَوْ أَمَرْتُ أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لأَحَدٍ، لَأَمَرْتُ النِّسَاءَ أَنْ يَسْجُدْنَ لِأَزْوَاجِهِنَّ لِمَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ حَقِّهِمْ".
Sayyiduna Qais bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I went to Hira (a city near Kufa) and saw that the people there prostrate to their leader. (Upon returning) I said: O Messenger of Allah! Should we not prostrate to you? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands because of the right that Allah Almighty has ordained for men over women.”
Hadith 1503
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْحِزَامِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ائْذَنْ لِي فَلِأَسْجُدَ لَكَ . قَالَ: "لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ، لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدُ لِزَوْجِهَا".
Abu Buraydah narrated, his father said: A Bedouin came to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Allow me to prostrate to you? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If I were to order anyone to prostrate to another, I would have ordered a woman to prostrate to her husband."
