باب في صَلاَةِ الأَوَّابِينَ:
Chapter: Prayer of the oft-returning (Awwabeen)
Hadith 1496
أَخْبَرَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ بَعْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "صَلَاةُ الْأَوَّابِينَ إِذَا رَمِضَتْ الْفِصَالُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out after sunrise and saw people praying, so he said: "The time for the prayer of the oft-returning (Salat al-Awwabeen) is when the feet of the young camels begin to burn (from the heat of the ground)."
