باب مَا جَاءَ في الْكَرَاهِيَةِ فِيهِ:
Chapter: What is disliked regarding it
Hadith 1494
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: "مَا صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُبْحَةَ الضُّحَى فِي سَفَرٍ وَلَا حَضَرٍ".
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never performed the Duha prayer during travel or at home.
Hadith 1495
حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ رَأَى أُنَاسًا يُصَلُّونَ صَلَاةَ الضُّحَى، فَقَالَ: "أَمَا إِنَّهُمْ لَيُصَلُّونَ صَلَاةً مَا صَلَّاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا عَامَّةُ أَصْحَابِهِ".
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakrah that his father (Abu Bakrah) saw some people performing the Duha prayer and said: These people are performing a prayer which neither the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed nor did his common companions.
