Hadith 1470
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that there were three times during which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid us from performing prayer and from burying the deceased: at the time of sunrise until the sun rises high, at the time of zenith until the sun inclines to the west, and at the time of sunset until the sun has completely set.
Hadith 1471
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that some beloved persons narrated a hadith to me, among whom was Sayyiduna Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) is the most beloved to me. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no prayer after the Fajr prayer until the sun rises, and there is no prayer after the Asr prayer until the sun sets."
