باب كَرَاهِيَةِ الْمُرُورِ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي:
Chapter: Dislike of passing in front of someone praying
Hadith 1454
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، أَنْبأَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: أَرْسَلَنِي أَبُو جُهَيْمٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ إِلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَسْأَلُهُ مَا سَمِعَ مِنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الَّذِي يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ الْمُصَلِّي، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "لَأَنْ يَقُومَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَرْبَعِينَ، خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ الْمُصَلِّي" . قَالَ: فَلَا أَدْرِي سَنَةً أَوْ شَهْرًا أَوْ يَوْمًا.
Busr bin Sa'id said: Abu Juhaym Ansari sent me to ask Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) what he had heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding a person passing in front of someone who is praying. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "For one of you to stand for forty is better for him than to pass in front of someone who is praying." Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah said: I do not remember whether he said forty years, or forty months, or days.
Hadith 1455
أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ، أَنَّ بُسْرَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ أَرْسَلَهُ إِلَى أَبِي جُهَيْمٍ يَسْأَلُهُ: مَاذَا سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ فِي الْمَارِّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ الْمُصَلِّي . فَقَالَ أَبُو جُهَيْمٍ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْمَارُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ الْمُصَلِّي مَاذَا عَلَيْهِ فِي ذَلِكَ، لَكَانَ أَنْ يَقِفَ أَرْبَعِينَ خَيْرًا لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ" . قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ: لَا أَدْرِي: أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا، أَوْ شَهْرًا، أَوْ سَنَةً.
Busr bin Saeed reported that Zaid bin Khalid Juhani sent him to Sayyiduna Abu Juhaim (Abdullah) Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him, to ask him what he had heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding the one who passes in front of a person performing prayer. Sayyiduna Abu Juhaim, may Allah be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If the one passing in front of the praying person knew how great a sin it is upon him, he would prefer to stand there for forty rather than pass in front of him." Abu Nadr said: I do not remember whether Busr bin Saeed said forty days, or a month, or a year.
