باب الصَّلاَةِ في ثِيَابِ النِّسَاءِ:
Chapter: Praying in women’s clothes
Hadith 1413
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُدَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ: هَلْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْبِ الَّذِي يُضَاجِعُكِ فِيهِ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، إِذَا لَمْ يَرَ فِيهِ أَذًى".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her), who was his real sister: Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pray in the same garment in which he had intercourse? She said: Yes, as long as there was no impurity on that garment.
Hadith 1414
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُدَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَهَا: "هَلْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْبِ الَّذِي يُجَامِعُهَا فِيهِ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ إِذَا لَمْ يَرَ فِيهِ أَذًى".
Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from his sister, Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her), the wife of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), that he asked Sayyidah Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her): Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pray in the same garment in which he had intercourse with you? She said: Yes, (he would pray in it) as long as he did not see any impurity on that garment.
