باب في صَلاَةِ الْجَمَاعَةِ في مَسْجِدٍ قَدْ صُلِّيَ فِيهِ مَرَّةً:
Chapter: Praying in a mosque where one has already prayed
Hadith 1406
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَسْوَدُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي وَحْدَهُ، فَقَالَ: "أَلَا رَجُلٌ يَتَصَدَّقُ عَلَى هَذَا فَيُصَلِّي مَعَهُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying alone and said: "Is there no one who will give charity to him and pray with him?"
Hadith 1407
أَخْبَرَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَسْوَدُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَقَدْ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: "أَلَا رَجُلٌ يَتَصَدَّقُ عَلَى هَذَا فَيُصَلِّي مَعَهُ ؟" . قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ: يُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ وَيُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ وَلَكِنْ يَشْفَعُ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man entered the mosque after the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, had already led the congregation in prayer. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Is there no one who will give him charity by praying with him?" Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: He may perform the 'Asr prayer, but if he repeats the Maghrib prayer, he should pray four rak'ahs.
