Hadith 1385
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sit after the prayer for only as long as this: «اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَالْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ» .
Hadith 1386
Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, he would say «اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهُ» three times, then he would say: up to «اللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ ...... "O Allah, You are free from all defects and from You is peace. O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, You are greatly blessed."
Hadith 1387
The scribe of Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him), Warid, said that Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) had me write a letter for Sayyiduna Mu’awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) stating that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this supplication after every obligatory prayer. منك الجد») “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, sovereignty belongs to Him and all praise is for Him, and He is powerful over everything. O Allah! There is none who can withhold what You give, and none who can give what You withhold, and the wealth of the wealthy will not benefit them in Your presence.”
