Sunan ad-Darimi

باب في الذي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ:
Chapter: Regarding missing the Asr prayer
Hadith 1264
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ يَرْفَعُهُ، قَالَ: "إِنَّ الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ الصَّلَاةُ: صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ، فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ".
Salim narrated from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whoever misses the Asr prayer, it is as if his family and wealth have all been lost.
Hadith 1265
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ، فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ" . قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد: أَوْ مَالَهُ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever misses the Asr prayer, it is as if his family and children have been killed (or looted). Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said «أو ماله» that in place of "children" there is «مال».
