Hadith 1226
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), the words of the adhan were said twice each, and the words of the iqamah were said once each, except when it came to "Qad qamatis salah," which was said twice. Therefore, when we heard the iqamah, each of us would perform ablution and come out of the house.
Hadith 1227
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was commanded to say the words of the adhan twice each, and in the iqamah once each.
Hadith 1228
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Bilal was commanded to say the words of the adhan twice each, and the words of the iqamah once each.
Hadith 1229
